Attukal Bhagavathy Temple
Attukal Bhagavathy Temple (Mudippura), situated in the district of Kerala state of Thiruvananthapuram, is one of Kerala's main Hindu pilgrim centers.
Attukal Ponkala is one of the

Ariankavu Shree Shastha Temple
Ariankavu is famous for the shrine dedicated to Sree Sastha, located on
the Kollam-Shenkottai Highway. The major festivals here are Mandala Pooja and
Trikalyanam celebrated in December.
Everyone knows that a bachelor is Swami Ayyappan. Yet the Puranas also
state that he married during one of his avatars. At a location named Ariankavu in
Kerala, evidence of this celestial wedding can be seen. The lord sits on an
elephant in this temple with his consort. His daughters are Poorna and
Pushkala, according to legend. It is suspected that Pushkala belongs to the
Sourashtrian family, a community well known for silk weaving that once supplied
Travancore's Maharaja with silk.
It is said that the temple has been celebrating Manikandan's wedding for
